Rosebery Water and Sewerage Upgrades

TasWater has completed a major upgrade to water and sewerage services in Rosebery. The $17 million project has delivered Rosebery both water and sewage services that meet national guidelines, and give the community safe and secure services.
Sewerage Project
The $10.5 million sewerage project included construction of a 2.5 km pipeline, a new pump station at Park Road and the upgrade of existing sewage pump stations.
The completion of the sewerage project in November 2015 ensures sewage is treated adequately, allowing us to meet our environmental and community obligations.
Water Project
The upgrades for the Rosebery water system included the new water treatment plant, pump stations, pipelines and storage tanks. A new building houses Rosebery’s new plant and there are two new high quality tanks to store both raw water and the treated water. Additionally, water will be stored in the existing Mt Black reservoir which has been cleaned and roofed.
