How do I participate in online engagement?

If this is your first time visiting the Yoursay TasWater Hub then simply click on the Register button at the top right hand of the page. When prompted, create a Username and Password of your choice and provide a valid email address, your age, gender and the location in which you live.

If you have previously participated, click on the Sign In button located on the right hand side of the top tool bar.

Note: Any comments you post to the Yoursay Taswater Hub will appear under your Username.

Why do I need to register?

By registering to Yoursay TasWater you are able to access the full features of our site including interactive discussion forums, feedback forms, surveys and story tools.

Registration also helps to minimise the chance of someone leaving multiple comments supporting their own position. Importantly, it means that we can keep you up to date about important changes to a consultation process, for example, if the submission date is extended.

    What happens to my feedback?

All comments, ideas and suggestions are collated and used to inform TasWater's decision making processes for the development of strategies, programs and activities. Online feedback is used in conjunction with other face-to-face consultation activities such as workshops, meetings, open days or surveys.

    What about my privacy?

Your privacy is absolutely protected. TasWater will only use your email to invite you to participate in new projects and update you on existing projects.  Your email address will not be used for any other purpose.

I don't really like using the internet, will I lose out on having my say?

Absolutely not! The Yoursay Hub provides TasWater with an exciting new way to engage with the Tasmanian community online. It is used to compliment but not replace traditional face-to-face consultation activities including workshops, displays, forums and mail outs.

    How are comments moderated?

Moderators will not alter or edit forum comments. Forum comments will only be removed if they are deemed to be significantly off topic, offensive or malicious – as outlined in the Forum Etiquette and Moderation Guidelines.  Users will be notified if their comments are removed.
