Bicheno Sewage Pump Station Upgrade

TasWater will be upgrading the sewage pump station (SPS) located next to Jetty Rd in Bicheno, to reduce the risk of sewage overflows into Waubs Bay.

The existing SPS needs to be upgraded to address environmental and emergency storage issues.

We understand that the pump station is in a central area of Bicheno and this work will impact on the public. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do everything possible minimise the disruption.

Works are expected to commence in mid-May and be completed in September 2017.

This project is part of TasWater's commitment to investing in new and improved water and sewerage infrastructure projects across Tasmania. These projects will provide improved public health and environmental outcomes and ensure our assets deliver reliable service for future generations.
